mine has exactly the same head shape as a black ghost knife fish will try find a better shot may be mine is a color variation of a black ghost knife, but i don't know much about them at all.

Cool thanks for the info ,i had the choice between him and the other black ghost knife that was in with him at the lfs which was the same size. this is good as i am hoping he will grow out to 12 in maybe? so he fits in with the rest of my plans for the tank.

I have one like that in my peaceful comm tank. I didn't pay too much attention until I saw this thread. He's currently around 7". He's always in his hiding spot and comes out only during feeding time. Cool looking fish.
