Brown Ghost Knife, who's owned one?

yeh, ive got one, hes's about 8-10 inches but all he ever does is hide and my african cichlids always nip his fins (i guess) because ther always ripped looking and the tip of his tail was bleeding once...... poor fella

ive had one for about 3-4 years now in a 75gal tank, it was about 5-6inches long when i got it and is still the same length, weird i dont know why it has never really grown, eats well and everything.

Brown Ghost vs Black Ghost:

Black:
common
gets large
attractive pattern

Brown:
uncommon
gets less large
less attractive pattern

I've never seen a brown ghost in person, and the black ghosts cost about $25 around here.

I have an African Brown Knife. I didn't realize they were so rare. I always see Clowns and Blacks. I'll probably be picking up a BGK next week from my LFS. Should be nice to have both in the tank.

lol, African Brown Knives are not rare.

my lfs had a beautiful brown ghost knife. it was actually chocolate brown with a yellowish stripe running the length of it's body.

I got one. Won't eat though..... tried shrimp pellets, flakes, and tubifex(dead) and seems to like brine shrimp....
