BROWN ghost knife

it REALLY sounds like somethign is harassing it. The only time our browns are EVER hanging at the top of the tank or hiding someplace other than a tube, is when another fish is harrasing it and we have to move him before it dies. It is the tell-tell sign that something needs to change in our tanks.

My guess, even if you say it isn't so, is something was spooking it when you werent looking.

im sure its quite possible at some point. while im around my tanks alot, i wouldent imagine it takes much to stress out a new young knifefish. maybe im better off sticking with a BGK since i can find them at a larger size. the one i had never seemed to even care if a parrot tried to mess with him. they eventually ended up sharing a cave together
