Brown Ghost Knife

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Its not an African brown I have two of those in another tank. This is a brown ghost knife. I did get him. So far no issues between it and the black ghost. One moment when I first put it in when they tried to share the same place. Now they are in different sides of the tank.

Oh & awesome, good to hear its working out!

Since they navigate with weak electric charges, wouldn't the two fish be confused when they interfere with each other's electric charges?

I recently sold my Brown ghost knife, very interesting fish, maxed out at around 10 inches for me after 2 years. It would eat from my hand at night, but otherwise liked to hide during the day. I would be pretty worried about the clown knife eating the ghost knife, the clown will quickly outgrow it and move up the food chain... just my 2 cents.

The two ghost knives are not in the same tank as the clown knife. It is in a 125 gal until he grows too large and then I will move him. At that time I will put the two ghosts in the 125 gal.

They are completely different species. The brown ghost is very similar to a black ghost but smaller.Brown Ghost.
