I caught this magnificent 14 inch Brown Trout, but the hook might be stuck somewhere down its throat or even further down. I tried pulling on it several times, which now thinking back on it, I realized was a terrible mistake on my part. I clipped the line as far back as I can. My question is this, lets say the fish is hooked on the inside…what could potentially happen? I have heard that the hook itself will erode away after awhile...is this true?
I did my research and the trout should be fine in the current setup that I have him in, but how are they when is comes to aggression? Will it be fine in there with my 17 inch Largemouth Bass?
