brown vs. black ghost knives

 • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I currently have both a brown and black ghost knife in the same tank. No major issues, only when they try to occupy the same space. They nudge each other and then move on. So far my brown is a little more out going but not by much. They both come out often day or night. The only odd thing I have noticed is that the brown likes to stick his nose in the sand over and over again. By the morning the bottom of the tank is completely pock marked.

Hey guyz 2day i bought a black ghost about 3" long still young and i got african cichlids in the tank would that be a problem with these guyz in there?? i got 3 electric yellow 2 Astatotilapia latisfasciata Zebra and 2 frontosas?? the is 55 gal.

African cichlids like hard alkaline water while BGK likes soft acidic water. Give them lots of cover for territories so they won't bother the BGK.
