Have a little update.
No new rescues this time.

On Friday I spent the day moving a bunch of things around. I was able to move the Tilapia out of the 35-Gallon Hexagonal tank into a 60-Gallon. I brought the 35-Gallon upstairs and 'spiffed' it up a bit. After that I added all of the community rescues. I couldn't name all of the stock if I tried, lol, but they are from Update #'s 4, 7, and 9. Sadly I have lost all Neon Tetras, and the Bushynose Pleco. The Neons were picked off one by one, not sure by who, and the Bushynose just died. No sign of why, was in perfect condition once I got a closer look.
Anyway, here are some pics of the 35-Gallon Community rescue tank.

you are soooo lucky i wish i could do have a community. nice tank.

We are currently setting up the basement to move some tanks down there (Building stands, setting up pluming, working on getting some more outlets down there, etc), and get more tanks for rescues. We will hopefully be picking up 7 donation tanks (Sizes unkown) soon, along with two Oscar rescues.(Sorry guys, nothing )v(onster yet:D) We also had another rescue dropped off today. Just a Comet Goldfish, nothing special, but a rescue non-the-less.

Pics later.
Meanwhile, here are some pics of the Albino Cichlid fry that have been growing for the past month. About 1/2" or so right now. There are also yellow labs, about 16, but they were to small to get the camera to focus on. :D

Update #10 April 18, 2010
Been awhile, and finally have some new rescues. Nothing really exciting, just about 13 Endlers and a Betta. Not really sure why the original owner needed to get rid of them, just think that she didn't want them anymore. She came over she gave me the bag with the fish and said, "I wouldn't put them with anything, because the colony as been slowly dieing, and I don't know why." as I look at the bag with DARK brown water. Wanted to say something, but didn't...Just smiled and thanked her for the supplies she donated.

They are now in the 35-Gallon, day 2.

Update #11 May 11, 2010
Have a bunch of new rescues from last Friday. Two 8" Oscars (Red, and Albino Tiger) and a bunch of Guppys. (15+) Lots of donations as well. The owner needed a larger home for the Oscars, as she had them in a 20-Gallon, and to add to that she was moving. On top of that, she was moving, and she didn't want to take the fish with her all the way to Florida. Great person, very nice, and even had a rescue herself that involved dogs and birds.
Also have been working on the basement project, where we will hopefully be moving some of the tanks. Custom built tank stand that holds two 10's and a 55-Gallon. (Will have four total) Outlets have also been put in, and plumbing will be next. And hopefully soon after, we will start our 200-Gallon+ indoor pond for large rescues.

Pics of the rescues and the progress so far in the basement. (Nothing special, but something)

Update #12 June 13, 2010
Been awhile since the last rescue, and today I just picked up a few more.
There are two, the first is a Frontosa Cichlid, the original owner did not want him due to his "pug like" face. He is about 2", and is now in the 50-Gallon Breeder tank with the other Cichlids. Very shy, but I managed to snap a few pics of him before I released him into the tank.
The second is a White Top Hara, and came from the same person not wanting him because he has a deformed spine, and cannot be used for breeding purposes. It is also about 2", and is also in the same tank as the Frontosa. Found a spot under the filter to claim as his territory, lol. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a pic of him yet, but I will try again!
Great guy, has a bunch of different tanks with Cichlids (Apistos, Peacocks, Calvus, etc.), Plecos and other Catfish, and Angel fish. He is a breeder, and has a bunch of Eureka Red Peacock Cichlid fry, and gave me a few just for taking the other two. Should be about six or so, at least two males. 1/4"-1"
