This thread has pretty much inspired meto do the same.....need a job first. Good work!
Thanks man. :D

Like I told myself, and I'm sure I've said this before, if I have the space and knowledge, why not? Granted, it isn't always a fish you want to keep, but that is part of being a rescue. Just because you don't like a fish, doesn't mean that you can say no. And it does give me a chance to have experience with more different species of fish that I haven't cared for before. Examples would be JD's, Tilapia, Frontosa, other Cichlids, it even brings me back to when I used to keep small community fish like Tetras, Guppys, Mollies, etc. So it is a fun learning experience, and it does bring back some memories of past kept fish.

I admire what you do and I sure other people do. You earn my respect for saving those poor fish! Pm to let me know when you will do your next rescue!

Thank you Cichla dude, and I will make sure that I send you a PM on the next rescue. ;) Not everyone admires what I do, lol, I get the occasional "F*** OFF!" email.:D
Thought I was going to have another rescue today, but they bailed once again. :nilly:

"LOL, well thank you. ;) Love my hobby by the way."

Sometimes, you just need to go with it. :)

Wow that guys just rude and stupid... lol good for you Hoyo.. I love that response.

Honestly I would not have the patience you do to put up with the craigslist fish, you are a good man! Love the name did you name him?

I still remember those days, at one time I was 12 and had 12 fishtank running, I had so many power strips runniung throughout my room, and every once and a while the circuit would trip, but I have learned so much from those days.

Good to hear you are doing this. I think I have also seen your ads while looking for tanks on craigslist. I live very close to you, in Appleton, and have a few spare 10 gallons if you need them.

Thank you, but I have to ask. Why would you not have the patience?

Thank you sir.
We do have a few empty 10-Gallons... maybe about six, so we should be fine. I don't want to take supplies that I don't have use for at the moment, but thanks for the offer, and if by some reason we get a bunch of small rescues him, I'll know who to contact. ;)
