brutis<jag cichlid>gauging intrest????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I know its annoyed me but its my fault,,,,,
Iam rearraing my tanks, moving angels and guppys to my 3ft/1ft/1ft for time being,,,
and going to put brutis temp in the 3ft/1.5ft/1.5ft

if its only flairing, why u selling??? its in there nature to fight but flairing is nothing, im sure you get that with ure angels right??

the fish in our tanks are always fighting, just let them get on with it. one will bow down eventually.

theres always the option of the divider right?

yes but the oscars now are permanatly in hiding both of them on top of each other tucked into the top right hand corner of the tank, its been about 1week like this now,,,cant see how its going to get any better,,,,
i could do a devider as the tanks only 5ft and it would make smaller tank and the fish wouldnt have space

you could seperate brutis and give him a smaller part of the tank and after a week or so put them back in with each other and see how things work

It won't work. Time-outs aren't going to stop a maturing jag from being a prick to less aggressive fish. It's only going to get worse. The larger CA cichlids only get more aggressive as they get older and larger.

SCN, you'll either have to find a new tank for him or give him up. That always sucks, but it'll eventually kill those oscars or make their lives more of a living hell.

punishing him for doing something wrong over time can work.

yes i have come to this conclusion so iam going to try to sell him:(
I have very temperally put him in my 3ft/1.5ft/1.5ft tank all alone:eek:
so now my oscars have come out of hiding and are now owning the tank!!!!

I know its a crying shame but i do not want any more deaths as my vieja killed a green terror/severum/mutilated a jack dempsey and my two oscars,,,now jags taken on the dominant role which i can not allow:WHOA:
