brycon dentex tankmates?

I asked about Sebaes in straight FW and all I got was the usual "MUST have salt when older" Despite rumors of very high tolerance to straight FW after being captive bred a few generations. I wanted to use them as dithers. No way is an Armatus gonna take one of those down even if they could catch one. I personally have always thought ATF were pretty neat. BUT the only way I'de ever keep them was if I had a pack of them. At least 5. I don't enjoy 1 fish tanks and from the sounds of it with that GATF that's basically what you'de have. Hell my Fahaka doesn't even get a tank to himself. He shares his with my incarcerated Silver Dats that were placed on death row after the Armatus incident.... Now that they have all become friends he is getting a bigger tank with bigger tankmates.......Should be VERY interesting to see how he reacts to a pair of 20+in knives.

no way i ever have tanks with only one or two fish.
i comm 3 malabaricus together and with other fish as well.
so much for "theyll tear apart anything that comes close".

Thats a very good point about the Monos....hmmm
I have 3 smaller VATFs that are pushing 5" now and if I cant get rid of them with in a few inches, they are ganna live with the Goliath/Armatus/juruenese and maybe, just maybe Monos

I do know that Vittatus grow faster than the Turtle Goliaths
I need the Vittatus to be atleast 3" smaller than the Goliath before the go swimming in the 300.

Im sure once that happends the Armatus will be like 11feet long by

I think Im ganna head over to the store today and pick up some Monos
Right now I have my Armatus with one of the 3 VATFs and he chases him around the tank but no scratches yet

I like that request by DB cause the Monos are fast as hell and always playing freeze tag. A lil life to my tank for a fraction of a Dorado
