Brycon Hilarii

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have inherited one of each including one of the Hilarii from the stock described. it was picked up about 1 month or so ago at about 2"-3". it's about 8" or 9" now. They do get on.

the 'lower' of the pair looks more like a Melanopterus whist the top looks like Hilarii. They had had a pair of Melanopterus at Wildwoods for ages.

Are they with anything else?

Sorry steve, did you say it went from 2-3" to 8-9" in one month!!! That is insane growth!

Hi Jelly do you mind me asking how much the Hilarii cost? jus having a 8'x4'x3' built and would like 3-4 of them.

cheer's

They weren't expensive. I can't really remember, either £12 or about £30. I know of a couple of baby dorado's that would go well in there. What else are you thinking of putting in there?

It wasn't far off that. I also got a group of an unknown brycon at less than an inch and they also grew at a massive rate. They consume vast amounts of food.

Not too sure yet, ive sorted a Lince cat out (Platynematichthys Notatus) but other than that ive got a blank canvas, jus seen a lovley pic of the B.Hilarii an thought a group of them would look cool.

Thanks
