I have a 75 gallon with a cascade 700 filter, heater, small powerhead.., is it important that i have a bubbler/air hoses in the tank? I see alot of tanks with them and alot without them, what is your opinions?

i say yes if you add a sponge filter to it. its a nice addition to any tank as long as you are not doing it in a planted tank as it tends to bloom algae fast

aeration is a good thing. the more the better off your fish are. i have a whisper pump with dual outlets setup on my 75 gal. one hose is connect to an air ring and the other is on an airstone attached to the back glass of the tank. i also have a powerhead in the upper, left corner of the tank.

As long as your canister and/ or powerhead are creating surface agitation, you have plenty of oxygen in your tank and don't need more air.

Completely agree! Some keepers just like the look of bubbles in their tanks.
