The Armatus grew a little less than 10-inches in the first 5 months. Heard that they do grow quite fast in the first months.

Not sure what kind of sponge it actually is.. just came with the set I bought. :P

very very nice bro!!!

Thanks Xander.
BTW, your Captive Care Guide was what I printed out and used as "starter guide" when I first got my Armatus. Was really detailed information there, with inputs from various keepers.
Do hope there'll be one for ATFs too. I'll gladly share anything I learn from my first Goliath.

Very Impressive. So it went from what looks to be about 8" to around 20" in 5 months? Crazy since it has taken mine 3-4 years to go from 3" to 20" I have the same combo going. Armatus around 20" and GATF about 16-17"

Nah, he went from 2-inches, to now just a little short of 12-inches. I think that's the fast bit of their growth. It's after a foot that they start to slow down, according to what I've read.

Is that how yours grew?
