I have a tank with bubbles and there is a lot of little bubbles floating around, and my question is will bubbles make the tank look a little foggy looking. because i just got threw looking at another tank and it did not have any bubbles and it looked really clear. i have alot of filtration so if i take the bubbles out it will not hurt the fish so whats up.

I don't understand...Is this from aeration?

Perhaps your airstone is producing to fine of bubbles that are remaining in suspension just change to a coarse stone.Or is it somthing else?

I use a bubble wand, and bury it in the gravel. This produces larger bubbles, I don't have this problem at all.

I use the ebo jager air diffusers for a dollar. I have dozens of them on hold. Highest possible recommendation.

If your fish load can take it, turn the air off for 15min and see if it clears up.

I had a similar problem. I took out the driftwood & it cleared up.

Yes, I said driftwood..

I still have fine mist bubbles over the wand & clear water in the tank.

I have no idea if the wood was the issue, but fake wood works fine for me...

I would recommend a full lab workup on the water, incase there is something else in there causing the bubbles to suspend.

good luck on that one, I hope someone has an actual answer for you.

Maybe you're using too much aeration. But I like my tank water to have lots of small bubbles. You may try turning off some of your filtration. If you have a dissolved Oxygen test kit, the better, it will eliminate the guess work on your required aeration.
