I recently added a pump to my tank for some extra flow in the water. Ever since I have done so, my senegals have been super active. I was just wondering if they are agitated by the extra movement on the top of the water. Is this normal? Healthy? Also, I have a 150 watt Fluval (sp?) heater. I have it set on 66 and it heated the tank up to over 84 degrees F! What is the deal with this thing? Anyone else had problems with these heaters?

Yeah that is what I thought. Maybe, they are happier with some movement so they are more active now? Any info on this stupid heater?

naw, might be just a matter of findin the settin by your self the guy that put on the setting numbers might have day dreaming at the time

Baha! I think you are indeed right! Unfortunately 66 is the lowest setting. It has been sitting at 80 to 81... and then I noticed yesterday it bumped it up around 85! WTF!?
