I answered my own question, but it won't let me edit. Nice pickup. Any store around me would have cleared out tanks and sold the new stock lol.

Went to Petsmart to replace the Golden Wonder Killie That jumped out of my tank, left with a bucket full of free fish. Some guy brought the bucket in and said his tank broke, looks like he gave up, which is too bad, but good for me! I got a giant Angelfish, three kissing Gouramis, Four Glassfish, a hatchetfish, a black molly, a pictus catfish (my favorite!), a couple big Albino Tiger Barbs, and a chocolate pleco.

I put all the big fish in my newly vacated 40, and the rest in my community tanks.

Why does every thing good happen to everybody else.

Petsmart wont resell except deon the distributers that they use but if you work a deal with the employees, then you can have you choice when they do take them in. They are allways good for free mollies if they have babies. for some reason they cant sell them either.

Nice deal on the free fish, the last time I saved a down tank, I think I got 2 angels 2 discus, 4 unidentifiable whatzits.

3 of the whatzitz are still kicking but the others have gone to that great toilet in the sky.

There are a few independent stores that would have snatched them up made a profit.
