My LFS got one in before. It was a female and it actually gave birth to a still born pup while it was at the store. A very cool fish to see in person.

It's not the stinger that shocks you. They have a way of generating an electric burst under their disc.

We have some Florida member here, I was in Florida for 30 years, anybody ever hear of this stingray?

And I mean personal experience, not our Google searchers we have here, the internet makes everybody an expert.................

If floridamarine.org says there is one, then there must be one. Why dont you do some research and actually help this forum instead of finding potential issues and manipulating them ? ;)

My family has a fishing boat down in P-cola and I fish there quite often. Now Ive never caught or even seen a marlin but I know they are there!

The Atlantic electric ray is, like its name suggests, found on the Atlantic coast of Florida. The lesser electric has been found as far west as Cape San Blas. My buddy was in Destin when he found this ray and that is about, what 60 more miles west? Anyhow that information I got was just after literally five minutes of googling....

I was in a trailier last week on friday and there was dark and lighting outside an i was pushing a belt of of the tailer and as i go near the en of the tailer i felt a big bumb to the tailer and the back en went up and i was sill in it holding a metal belt. i ran imdeinly out side to see if a turk hit us while we were inside but, when i got out there, there was nothing acppt park cars outher and light craking only 200ftfetet above my head! i saw the tailer and the one next to me the tops of the tailers were darken/blackened! i when raning inside and told my told my boss, his eyes turn eyes turn white, and his jaw was about to hit the ground! he said i'm glad you are okay, (his job is to keep everone safe!??) I told him , I'm glad i'm still alive!??:WHOA: :( :screwy:
