Good choice, near the window. My fish get morning sun and their colors make my heart pitter-patter. I suspect it helps them nutritionally, too. Dream tank, that one.

Unfortunately most glass blocks much of the suns beneficial energy that would otherwise be absorbed by you, me, reptiles, fish... Much of this energy is actually harmful in constant exposure, so glass is designed to reflect it outwards.
