I'd like to start out with a fingerling sized one too, but 10lbs is about my average size. I know where to get some fingerling buffs, but all of them have died with in days that I have got from this place.

I'm sure they would be, but one as big as you are talking about would be difficult to satisfy with tubifex unless you have a huge supply. Maybe earth worms would be best and eventually weaning him to a good quality pellet? Please keep me up to date, I am interested in hearing about how this fish does in captivity.
