Buffing Acrylic

Be very careful of brown bubbling acrylic when you use this method! This works nicely on rough edges but when I have tried to do this on flat plastic surfaces I always ended up with a noticeable warp in the plastic. The plastic ends up clear BUT I always ended up with a noticeable distortion in the plastic (Like you created a magnifying glass out of the plastic).

I would highly recommend practicing on some scrap pieces of acrylic before ruining your aquarium!

Heating sounds a little tricky. Ill pass all this on to my cousin. Thanks everyone! If anyone has more info, please throw it in!

Yes exactly practice on a piece of scrap first. Thats how i learn to do it. Keep it 10 inches away from the acrylic moving it from left to right no circles. If you hold it to close you will cause Air Bubbles, I will try to post a video showing how to do it. To me this is the fastest and best way and better results.

And you do it on the surfaces without it warping or anything?
