How did you get all the polish out of the tank to make it fish safe again? That is the part I am concerned with.

- yes , I actually have some left over.

- most of the polish rolls down when you buff off ..and then can be wiped out of the tank ...the tank will probably set empty a few weeks while the stand is being built (evaporation). I also plan to fill and flush the tank several times before final fill ... I suggest you research any product before using.

- I did it over a 2 day period (when i had time).
 
Thanks for the quick answer. I figured as much on the fill/flush. I already planned on using the Novus though, it's what everyone has recommended to me. Let's hope it turns out as good as yours.
 
Very nice job, looks brand new. Clearly a great product with a lot of hard work I'm sure. Thanks for posting the journey
