I just have one suggestion. Your stand is basically a tray with the bottom piece of wood. Why not waterproof it and seal it so it acts like a catch tray. You never know if you have a leak in your sump or something. That way you will contain it and not have it go all over your house. Since your tank is in your living area it would be a good insurance against leaks.

im in process of filling it now , yesterday i had about 6 inches of water and letting it set over night to check for leaks

today filled it half way , waiting another 24 hours for leaks , till then....
