building a 500 gallon plywood tank

this is a pic why i built the top and bottom 1.5 inch wider,,, cause once i built the tank i can butt the 2x4 right up to tank , screw and glued
 
hey everyone , got a question , who ever built a plywood befor , the bulk head nut , did you drill the hole threw the stand 3 times bigger then the tank so can you can put the bulk head nut against the tank , or did you drill same size hole threw tank and stand and just put the nut on bottom of stand ?? or think it matter long eather way,,, long as its tight ? same as post 55 , thanks for any infor i can get ,,,,

Make the whole in the stand bigger imo this will work out better for u

i thought alot about using the fiberglass or not too , some use it and some dont , i decided to follow the garf builds for this tank , so im not using it , and seen alot people been using pond seal or epoxy , i went with epoxy
