Is there anything in between the liner and the timbers and what did you use for the bottom?
I need to build one for my sons RES and I love how the timbers look on yours. were looking @ 450g.

No i didn't use steel rods.I used the next best thing which is long screws 4 1/2 inchers.every 6 inches or so and i over lapped the timbers at the corners for added stregnth.lymiq;2715441; said:good job putting it together ... question: do you use angle irons or a steel rod through the wood?
I thought about that too.Do you think that would be a big issue.I see people on here do it quite often i might start a new trend on that and research it a little more.haynchinook334;2715472; said:I might think about putting rays and catfish together. The rays might sting the cats.
But other then that, Awesome work. I like the spray bar and the water fall.
I would go bare bottom.
