I don't think they understand what O scale is and I believe were picturing a real city in a tank

No, my idea of super tank is a lot different from his obviously. Thought he meant like an aquarium's aquarium.

There are plenty of people on here that have public aquarium sized aquariums in their homes.

Use styrene sheets, most hobby stores carry it. It's the material that the egg crate is made of, that many of us already use in our sumps, etc. so we know it's safe. All you need is to find fish safe paint that works with plastic........ Krylon Fusion. Many people here already use it for painting their pvc overflows.

I think I<3fish means millions of gallons by aquariums aquarium.

Yeah, I was thinking of something like this. Lol.

Oh lol well most Aquarium's don't have anything near that size. That's the second largest aquarium in the world at almost 2,000,000 gallons.

Thanks for recomending the styrene sheets I think I can get those at my local hobby shop or possibly a craft store. I picture using the styrene sheets for building the ruins of the building. I'd like to base the city scene off of the flooded city scene in Waterworld but with much more detail. I think O scale would be good in that that if the storm drain and subway tunnels are eight to ten inches high there would be pently of room for the Goldfish and Bluegills to swim around in. Also I think it might be intersting to have it set up to see how the fish would behave if the ditches and storm drains where filled with water first. And then when it's full of water see if the fish travel along the deep tunnels and ditches though the drowned city.
