Building a new home for my dats!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
wow.. this bro is dedication! :D

Looking good again, but going through this topic again I notice you put the glass tanks directly on the stands, maybe it's a good idea to use some styro under the new tanks? This as you might already know spread the pressure on the glass and prevent any imperfections from putting to much presure on a piece of glass.

Yeah I forgot about that. Thanks.

Had to take a break from setting up the 180g. I got pneumonia and I'm still waiting on my LFS to bring in the 24 containers of bio rings I ordered. Hopefully I can get back to it next week

Got over the pneumonia and back to work on this tank.
Got the tank on the stand

Started on the 55g which will be converted into a wet/dry sump
Still gotta finish up the Bins with the plumbing and the bulkheads. Also going to add bio rings to the bins.

Starting to cycle the tank with water from the other 180g's and some dirty wet/dry pads. Also picked up a perfecto double bulb strip.

Heres a quick overlay of whats running so far. Still gotta grab a 125g perfecto black trim. LOL!

Amazing tanks-very interested in your plumbing for the FX5...what size PVC did you use? The bottom tube is an extended inlet right? Very clever:headbang2
