introduced my Big ST to my main tank and was eating like a champ on shrimp. But noticed after awhile he started chasing my ornates. He stopped eating shrimp and reverted to wanting to eat live. For fear of him getting thin after a few weeks i gave in and gave him crayfish that i purged. During my trip I planned on feeding him one every 2-3 days. My friend and father figured that the ST was big enough to eat them all so they fed him a bunch in one day. All seemed well when I came back but noticed that he wouldnt eat anything and that his anus started to bulge. To no avail he starved and died after a few grueling months. Same thing happened with the IT. Stopped eating and once I slowly get him eating again, he gets plugged up. The ngt died from fighting with my large IT 19" and the AT died of old age I think. Its the oldest dat I owned.
I do not blame my friend or my father as its not their fault. I should have kept the ST's in there own tank before my trip.
I do know that my tanks are not sustaining themselves like they used to and will need to spread them out more and get stared on my dat pond. Everything is going great now and just trying to improve my filtration again. I'll get some pics of whats left.
