Building a sump

hey guys, this is a solidworks drawing i drew up for my new sump im building... its made out of a 55 gallon long (4ft) enjoy, and please feel free to give pointers on anything else i should do

looks good to me...
 
get rid of the last baffle. it has no use. and if your sump was to loose water atleast you would have more vou\lume to allow the pump to pump backup resulting in less chance of your pumpe burning out
 
thanks for the advice, i want to be able to still have enough room to put my heaters in the return pump section
 
stick yer heaters under the tray that holds yer media.. they fit better and allow you to have more room for media.. you might not need that much now... but people on this site always end up with bigger tanks for some crazy reason... and i dont think you can ever have too much filtration
