sand with no rocks is a good bottom, just tamp it down level. what material is your pond gonna be

i was looking into using concrete to built the whole pond out of

but if you guys have a better suggestion pls let me know =] Also if I do go with concrete how many bags of cement should I buy to build a 9'x4'x4' pond....the walls i think are going to be like 2-4" while i have a inch thich plywood in the middle of the concrete. And their will be 2 large plexiglass that are from what I know are going to be 3/4 of an inch or 1/2 an inch

now that im thinkin...i having alot more things on my mind...about having a shed or no shed....if i dont make or buy a premade shed...i could leave it open aired like in nature...and just get a long plastic container and cut a round hole on the bottom where the cord can go through and then have the power outlets be inside of the container...and their will be a lil roof above the outlets...Well should I be concerned about anything else besides the pond being without a roof like overflowing with rain? But if it rains here it doesnt last that long and it isnt really that big and strong...maybe from my perspecive it only lasts about 20-50 minutes of light showers

but i can also get a couple of large flat pieces of slate for 50 cents a pop in a slate yard and pond constitution near me....

What do you guys think I should add to the pond when its done being built and all setup and cycled? I was thinking of 3 red bellied pacus and a Silver Arowana and maybe 3 Peacock Basses...Mono's...what do you guys think?

ok cool you guys =] yup ill keep you guys posted =] still waiting for this crazy on and off weather were having here...=/
