Bulging anus on Stingray???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thank you all for your fast replies.

We have no available vet here in our place. I've been feeding silver sides and I think its not the food because I have a few rays in the community for so long now and have been feeding the same food. It is normal when I bought it, it arrived in condition and eats well.

I guess I will just stop feeding him for a while and hope that it heals.

my female when she was preg had this and did fine after pups were born his looks big slow down on feeding see if it goes back

Attached is a much clearer picture of my male leo. Any suggestions are very much welcome. Thanks to all who responded.

maybe you should move the ray to a different tank ;)

Hello everyone,

Thanks for all the responses. My leopoldi is now back to normal. Just want to share what I did. Transferred to a 50gal hospital tank with lots of aeration, put Furazan Gold, half dose only for 1 week. 25% water change daily. Feed him 1 shrimp without shells 1" size, 3x a day. Which means, very little feeding until the bulging anus disappears. After it disappeared, I gradually increase the feeding. He is now feeding normally ang hoping that he is 100% okay.
