Knowdafish - what makes you think that this company manufactures their own food? Their formulas look like generic farm feed crumble, with a private label slapped on it. (the same thing that Ken does with his house brands)

There's a reason why they can afford to sell 20 lb's for $40.

Why do you think they don't??? They say they are the mfg. Why so pessimistic?

Compared to what??? What are "good ingredients" and at what cost?

I've tried it and its not to bad. The only problem I had with it was the size. If you go by the picture you would think that their a nice size pellet. But in fact unless your feeding a farm size of small frys it would be a over kill. Not to say that large fish wouldn't eat, but it is a very small pellet and don't be mislead to believe that their as big as the picture. Thats what made me try some just to see. I got a pound and its for my grow out frys and that about it... You can't go by anyone else opinion, I would just try alittle to see if it works for you before I would get into order pounds of this stuff...
JUST MY $.02

Also it wouldn't hurt to look into to these guys that put together their own pellets by-hand with all natural ingredients... THeir Ken & Russ @ N_Seine_aquatics@Yahoo.com....

Thank you! This was the reply I was looking for! :D

It was a simple question, no need to get bent out of shape.
Where do they state that they are the mfg of these foods?

compared to foods that have actual fish ingredients in them, and at the very least fish meal as the first several ingredients, and not just the very first one, if you look at ingredients in foods like NLS and omega one you will see that they have several ingredients for they even have a grain meal listed and they have a lot more natural products an stuff that is closer to what fish would normally eat, hav they have a larger variety of actual food ingredients as well instead of being mostly fillers
