Go to www.jehmco.com. Next to each bulkhead listing, they tell you what size hole will with with a specific bulkhead.

that helped alot thanks pharaoh!!! if i cant find them in any plumbing store or a good lfs around me (which i cant find lol) then ill order from that site :D

holy crap i just scrolled down past the bulkheads and they have screened intakes! thats exactly what i was looking for! pharaoh ur the man!

Closest thing they have to what you need at Home Depot or Lowes is in the electrical section for through hole fittings. I never get any help at either of these stores because the employees are 100% idiots so I had to figure out all their stock myself.

Anyhow I picked up all three of my through hole fittings for my tanks plumbing at a local marina. They use these through hole fittings in boats and go up to very high sizes so they should have whatever size you need. Mine were 15$ a pop at the marina and work perfect in my tanks overflow.

yup thats what the guy was saying in homedepot yesterday but $15 each 3 times what im trying to pay for each one

Oh, trust me. After the hundreds of dollars I spent on my 125g setup I didn't want to spend 45 more dollars on three bulk heads either but if you got a drilled tank brother that's what you need. Good luck finding them any cheaper.

You can buy them from Jehmco for about$5-6 each. Shipping will probably only cost about $8-10. They only charge what the freight costs.

Heck, even pet shops only charge $10 for them. I couldn't see paying $15.

Not a single LFS I checked out sells them or even knows what you're talking about when you mention a drilled tank. This include Pet Nation, Petsmart, Petco all within 45 minutes of Fort Walton Beach. Anyhow if it's good enough to seal a boat that sits in the water it's good enough to seal the bottom of my tank. ;)

If you can order them that cheap go for it, but as you said before you weren't 100% on sizes. I had .5" and .25" holes but the bulkheads to fit those were not those exact sizes when you incorporated the thickness of the bulk heads and all. I had to measure the exact on the inside hole and then the exact on the through fitting spot. Orderin' online there are no returns or pre measuring. Good luck to you though. Keep us updated when you get them holes sealed with something.

yea i deffiently wasnt gona order them online but pharoah showed me a site that has the drilled hole size with the corresponding bulkhead right next to it. and like he said theyre 5 bucks =D more money saved to buy some b.a. fish
