what size tank are you keeping it in now and how is the growth rate on those things.
I would love to have one of those but don't think my set up would be even close to big enough.

The tank it is in now is 18'x12'x3'. Growth rate will depend on water temp. and food intake. If you keep feedings down to 2X per week and the water temp. in the low 70's you'll keep it small for quite some time. Eventually this shark will require a large home. (Oklahoma Aquarium keeps large Bulls)

i am just wondering how long can a bull shark live in the fresh water because i saw on river monster they said some will never leave fresh water.

In a lake yes, in the ocean I seriously doubt it as these sharks are found just about anywhere.

as mr. oddball said......

just want to confirm, this is freshwater or saltwater?

Its saltwater. I am not sure why anyone would want to put this in freshwater. I am also pretty sure that the shark would produce much more waste in freshwater. I think this was talked about not to long ago on the shark forum.
