Bull shark pics are up :)

Um, I was researching the group, determining if some were suited for a captive situation... and doing it is fun. :D
I'm hoping to have a better chance to look at behavior, aggression situlation, social group struction, and of course captive reproduction.

Have you gone diving with them yet or stay out of the water? I've always heard Bull Sharks are the one of the big sharks to be worried about.

I've spent lots of time in the water with bulls (captive and in the wild). Treat them like most other big bodied sharks. Be aware of where they are, avoid hanging out at the surface, don't be aggressive and avoid diving with them at twilight. They show precursers prior to any bite or attack type action. Paying attention is the most important thing to do.

Zoodiver... I have been a "shark freak" for many years... and feel I should have pursued my obsession... I am very envious and intrigued by what you do. I preach the danger of Bullsharks to anyone that will listen. I live in Texas. Had a scary incident in Muddy, murky Galveston a few years back. Do they point the pec's down before they get to work???

Aggression is usually warned by the pectorals going down... but pecs down doesn't always mean aggression. They point them down in order to make short/quick turns. Sometimes its just because they are curious and want to stay in tight to investigate.

Are you still doing any work in freshwater?
