Bull Sharks.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
All the black nose I know of are mean to tank mates. But I obviously don't know of them all. I haven't had much experience with galaps, so can't comment on them. Hammers are fun, but get so big so fast. I love sandbars. Get along great with other sharks and just look cool.

:D

I know for a fact the galapagos sharks at the Monterey Bay Aquarium have been particularly nasty to their tankmates - even pestering the great whites they occasionally get (up until they push too far... then... CHOMP). They also like to eat the tuna in there.

A scalloped hammerhead would be pretty cool, and sandbars just look badass.

I have to catch up with you this fall - my tank project has been headache after headache, and now with a couple product launches, I'm working 60+ hrs/week.

Sharkdealer's hooking me up with a whitetip soon though - the zebra fell through. Much like your Aussie sandbar - the shark itself wasn't too expensive... it was the $10K to ship it. And frankly, gas is going up, and my Lambo doesn't really sip gas...

I agree with zoodiver that the sandbar are one of the best sharks for what you are looking for turbo. They also are much cheeper then any bull you will find.

I hear ya Jay. Sandbars are real cool and one of my favorite sharks. The only reason that I was using them as a backup is because every aquarium has them and its pretty easy to go see one. Anyway we will see what happens and thanks so much for the tour sunday. me and chris had a blast checking out the sharks and filtration. I gotta say that silky you guys have is one of the baddest sharks I have ever seen. one of my favorites!!!
