i have come across a 4' x 3' x 3'' peice of bullet proof glass, you can guess what im going to do with it, make a tank!
the ? is has anyone ever used it before for a tank
does the thickness matter for viewing, will it magnify my fish in the tank

thickness doesn't not block how well you can see the fish. most aquarums have 12" thick acrylic and then glass to cover the acrylic
but i don't think you need to go that thick, unless you plan to shoot the tank everyonce in a while.
it would be heavier too.

would be great for snakeheads they would not break though that

i would try trading it or selling it as what was said cause you only have 1 pane and you need 5! ( 4 sides and a bottom)

i was thinking of doing a plywood tank, but maybe its too much of a hassle i have to check into it, i might sell it, but id be cool to keep it

ahh my fault for staying on here when i'm tired, thought he was on about a 4'x3'x3" tank:ROFL:
it is about 2:40am though in my defence..
