I understand your concerns. Hospital tank and equipment was sterile before he went in. Primed the cycle with Stability from Seachem. Water changes were manual, not on my auto system. All cleaning gear sterilized before and after use and each of my tanks have their own cleaning equipment. No cross contamination. Pulled multiple microscope slides on him before I put him back. He was cleaner going back than he was coming out. Which is probably just as bad. All the natural parasites he was used to have fresh meat on the menu now.Hopefully he didn't take any domestic pathogens with him
I'm a licenced wild life rehabber by the way. I'm not in trouble lol. Fish and game has fin clippings for this guy and he's tagged now. If their labs had come back with something I'd have destroyed him.
