sorry dude, but your right not to give up. just watch the bichirs they will eat anything. just look at tankmates and get them big enough so that you dont think "hmm maybe but i doubt it", cause bichirs always suprise
 
Silver dollars were too small. 3 died proabably eaten. Other 3 in a 15 gallon growing. All others were fine. I got a new silver aro the other day, 7". He's doing just fine. I got a shovelnose catfish as well. Have seen the shovelnose eat yet. Blood worm after work tonight. Gonna get some silversides tomorrow and try them.

Well, I hope this is going to work for you, make sure the lid is on tight after all that you dont want your aro to jump out. I had on about 2" and he jumped on me and i found him the next morning. I hope all goes well! Gotta post some pics to see the newbes!
 
sorry for the loss bro. the past 10 years since i started keeping arowanas, i lost a silver and a jardini already but luckily not on the first night :duh:

just dont give up, you wont regret aro keeping :woot:
 
sorry for your lost. hope u get another one soon. sad to say but it takes another aro to forget about the old. just my 2 cent, get one soon so u can have a smile on ur face again.:D
