Pimple looking spots aren't always something serious. Whatever it is I've seen in my fish over the years was never serious, would go away with clean water and a bit of mild treatment (little bit of salt, little bit of melafix, or whatever) and leave no trace it was there. I've read contradictory stuff on Lymphocistis, maybe because it's not completely understood by science from what I've read, there's some thought it's more than one type of virus.
I'm not an expert on fish disease, I've just rarely had to deal with it, so don't take it as gospel-- but at least ime a random pimple-like spot or two was not a big deal, easily treated, didn't affect fish behavior, and didn't leave permanent marks. A cluster of bumps would have me more concerned.
