No rumor , i have sold 1 female seperatly, but you have alot of people only wanting just females, and with them being very limited {only few came in of each size} ,i dont wanna get stuck with a bunch of males.Happens all the time to everyone out there.

Does the same exporter offer fish from the xingu?

I wonder if those sp could be the "snow leopard" type.

These 3 "snows" are a bit bigger but they deff look similar to one of yours.

He offers alot of other fish, but for rays he doesnt do them much at all.Only during the Hytrsix run, then he stops .These are the first {Orbs} he has ever had available. But i was looking at another post by calgary and the one he shows when it came in ,looks alot like mine now,but mine are smaller, only a little over 6".So they may be.I dont remember ever seing any Dumerilli available in Brazil ? And if you look at this link the small ones look nothing like mine???Just not sure yet.

Daniel, the owner of amazon-exotic-import.de imported the "dumerilli" from colombia.
As far as I know, dumerilli havent been linked to any species by modern science so it could be anything you want it to be.....

I wouldent be suprised if your sp. could be from the xingu. Or it could be a diffrent species.

This fish is from rio negro.

I think yours look like young xingu rays. They look like the small ones I used to have anyway. But a lot of rays start off like that.
