I love the tip to tail picture of the giant weeksii!!!! TS/he's my favorite weeksii- tied with DMD123 DMD123 's Nessie. What is her behavior/personality like? And do you have two weeksiis?

Hoping to get a measurement of girth of these beauties!

Yes Two Weeksii the big male and the smaller female. The big Weeksi is one of the most active Bichirs I have had only rivalled by the giant ornate I grew out back in the day.

Most days it is hard to get a pic of him as he is almost always cruising

Beautiful collection! It's amazing. You are one of the few people that still have their bichir collection from the beginning of time. Truly an inspiration for many out there. :clap I've never kept a bichir longer than 5 years. Hopefully I will be able to break that mark some day! Once again, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Hao!!! Longevity really is my secret. For 18 years now Polypterus have been a passion and I have been fortunate to acquire some good ones

Wow 18 years! Almost old as me. Given the proper care, bichirs definitely look better the longer you keep them ! In the past, I wasn't really too focused on bichirs but this time around I'm more focused on them. Definitely can see the bichirs developing.
