Just got 6x 2" clouder archerfish from Wet Spot, WOW. These are hands down one of my favorite fishes. They have green hue n the patterns r gorgeous. Had a bottle of tetra color bits granules, threw a pinch in n they ate like piranhas. Awesome swimming school, I now want more. I kinda of want to grab 6x more and make it an even dozen, thats how cool these guys are. Pics when tmrw

I agree. They are active, school together, smart, great appetites, and only chase each other around without any damage. I feel there aren't enough hobbyist with these, but the OP and I are going to show these off as they progress. If I had the space, I would order more since they are less expensive now and smaller. But, I got no more room.

IMO, the common archer is beautiful too. Here is my 6", with his 3" Burmese cousin!

no doubt about it. i love oddballs, archers in general r a cool fish. i have to order some of that fly larvae u showed me. i love my schooling clown loaches, nice to see top school fish in my tank. honestly thinking about grabbing some more archers...

Do it!! Good price right now, from a good resource and prob from the same healthy batch. Try the BSF, if you don't like it, I'll PayPal you back the money. I really love my freshwater morays, truly a cool oddball. Wes, hasn't had those in a while. Let's compare growth rates on these archers. I wanna see first hand if they are truly slow growers (like those damn clown loaches!)

How big of a tank do you have them in? I had a group of 8 in a 125 and they all killed each other when they got bigger. This was a few years ago, I got them from the wet spot as well

Also, they were not slow growers at all, they doubled in size easily in a couple months

I don't know much about these fish, are these ones full fresh water? I'd like to set up a tank for these guys where I could place crickets or flies above the water line and watch them actually do their thing and hunt.

I believe these are the only true freshwater archerfish. Very cool fish, always active. Pick up a large school!
