Burmese Python Growth Watch Thread!

$200 for a burm is outrageously expensive isn't it? hopefully it will keep idiots from buying considering it will get big, but hopefully it will not keep a good keeper from taking it.
 
The place I work has their snakes pretty overpriced. That is true that someone who would be a capable keeper might be put off by the price too. If someone knew what they needed to know to keep a burm, they also might know where to get one for cheap...

I have a nephew that lost his big RTB to rats he bred for it, because of mites and different parasites on the live food.
So now he freezes the rats prior to using them for his other snakes. He defrosts them in a container then feeds them...

I think I will freeze them before feeding....but I will be raising these rats so im hoping I can eliminate mites
 
I dont have any recent pics or a camera on hand to take them but he is now over 3 feet!
