I had a colony of Burundis before that averaged 5"-7" that co-exsisted with my compressiceps that were 2.5". I grew them up together, Burundis were 3" and Comps. were 1.25". As you know Comps./Calvus grow extremely slow. It's do-able.... those Comps. have a way of protecting themselves and hide rather well if need-be. I'm looking at getting/setting up a strictly comp. tank soon.
