Butterkoferi has been messing around with the peacock the peacock is bigger than the butterkoferi. The peacock is in a very bad state. Any solution?

Don't have the money rn to buy another tank so can't seperate them. The tank I have rn is 75 gallon. The peacock is around 6-7 inches and the butterkoferi is around 5 inches. Peacock has been in the tank since the last 3 months and the butterkoferi since a few days.
Short term, just to protect the bass, you can put some egg crate in as a divider. But longer term, if you can't get another tank, you may have to approach the people you bought the butt from and see if they'll have it back. If you've only bought it recently, then hopefully they'll be understanding of your problem.
Try separating them and give one of the fish away. Either way you'll need a bigger tank for one of the fish eventually

If you can't get rid of one of them put a divider in your 75 as soon as possible. Otherwise your bass will be dead soon. But that situation only buys you a bit of time, it's far from ideal, both those fish are not going to be happy swimming around in half a 75 each.
