Ive only seen a 19" butti down in my LFS.Its was huge...I couldnt take a pic cuz i didnt have my camera and its too far to go too.Its about a 1.5 hours to get too.It was wit some Cichlids like a Flowerhorn thats about 12" and a 16" Managuense With about 3 Silver arowana about 21" and a Jardini thats 15" I dont know how big the tank is but its really huge.Possibly over 450 gallon.

Im sure there are some big males out there that can get close to 20". Cuz ive seen plenty of butti's in the 16" range.

Biggest I've seen was approx 16-18, and my personal biggest was 14

yeah biggest 1 of teds is 18" i think..

I didnt realize so many people had these. Im new to the hobby (I left and just came back) but I hadnt heard anything about the Butti until I bought mine. They have soo much personality its unbelievable.

Are these fish mean? And are they a hard fish to have?
