Is there any way to get these things to behave with tankmates?

If they are in something big, IE bigger than 180 gallons with a few other similar sized fish, can they be tame? EVER? Certainly in the wild fish can keep their distance from them. It must be possible in captivity, right?

There best to be kept by there self but it is possible to keep with tankmates u , you just have to try , its hit and miss, just gotta watch them and get hiding spots

man i had a beautiful baby buttikoferi, spent $40 bucks on a 2inch butti and made the mistake of my life, by putting it in my large CA/SA and shark tank he only lasted a couple of days before he was considered lunch. sad day, yes it was

they are really amazing fish and are so beautiful they are the african frontosa with american cichlid fight in them. would any one reccomend keeping these with a red devil a green terror and a firemouth plus some giant danios?
