I thought I could save a few bucks. I bought Wardley Shrimp Pellets ISBN 4332400095.

THese things turn into dust as soon as the fish nibble, I end up wiht a tank full of dust, the dust stays in the rocks and forces me to gravel vac every other day. This was even worse in my panted tank, as the sand is the same color as the food, so I didn't notice the dust and it turned into mold inside the tank.

I bought these also, after the first feeding they became fertilizer in the garden

hmm weird i have the same isbn but mine do not turn to "dust" although they are swollowed up pretty much instantly by my loaches

Thats a shame being that Wardley is a local company thats been around forever.They seem to be overshadowed by the newer companies with the flashier packaging.I have used these pellets before without this problem so hopefully these are from an old bach.

wardley catches a lot of crap on the forums. But in reality, based on ingredients and nutritional percentages, they are virtually identical to a great many more expensive brands out there. I'm not a big fan, but when I even use dry food... it's always omega one :)

I fed these pellets to my synos and don't have this issue. I suspect it's mostly because they eat them right away and don't nibble them.

they made a MESS in my tank

I try to feed them to the bottom fish in the 125 (polypterus, graceful pim) and they tend to be messy if not eaten within a short time

Wardleys? :screwy::screwy::screwy:
