Not a big fan...

They did maek a mess.

My clowns destroy them and my bichirs have started to take a liking to them. I use them in tanks with sand, so it sits right on the sand surface until they are all eaten, but with gravel, they would be a mess

they make a big mess in seconds in my tank so, I crush them up and add them to the worm bedding where I keep M/W...don't know if they do any good, but they won't hit my water in the raw any time soon...

Strang it seems like a 50/50 success, in my 55 they are ate well before 30 minutes but turn to dust in about 2 or 3. I can put the food in go was my hands grab a pop, and when I come back its all dusty.

I have been using them in my fry tank, the guppy fry love them.

I like the adage, you get what you pay for...

There are so many quality foods out there promoting health and vitality to our fish, why bother with the cheap stuff?

Because in this particular case if you look at the ingredients/nutritional percentages it's the same as half the more expensive foods out there.

Whether you buy into that it's a good deal, or other's just aren't as good as they're made out to be is up to you.

P.S. Just because a product promises you something doesn't mean it's true :nilly:

:iagree:

I don't give two hoots what a product or company says it does, nor do i think i have to pay top dollar to get a good product. I always compare apples to apples, and then decided if the difference justifies the cost.

Any one know about ordering bulk food? I went to big Al's and saw tey had a 2.2 lb bad of tropical wafers. I am looking to order a years worth of supplys, I am getting tired of every other month going to a LPS to buy supplys.

chances are they are going to be equivalent to a lot on the shelf, but you also need to think about expiration. I would divide them into baggies and maybe vacuum seal them. Don't know how it would handle freezing.
