Buying a shovelnose catfish

I was thinking of picking one up today.I just need to know if it would be safe to though it in my Jardini Aro tank.My Jar is of euqal size.I also need to know if these are easy to take care of?Can I feed it beef-heart?

it would be ok with your jar if they are the same size and yes they would eat beef heart and little fish and prawns/mucles thats good food for them

yeah thats a good size to introduce the two. any bigger and I would say it is risky.

I was just told it was a Shovel Nose Catfish? I think it's the Redtail Hybrid.It's brown on top white on the bottom.
